Make a bird feeder

Creating a bird feeder is an excellent way to connect with nature and is a great thing to do whilst stuck indoors on cold wintery days. All you need is a plastic bottle, a wooden dowel and birdseed.

Start by cutting holes in the bottle, and then fill it with birdseed. Add a perch to the bottom by using the dowel. Hang the feeder outside your window or in the garden and enjoy the sight of birds appreciating your feeding station.

Watching TV

Sometimes all you need is a great TV show to take your mind off things. With so many streaming services, documentaries and TV shows available to choose from, you will be spoilt for choice. Collect and paint rocks

There are many local Facebook groups which talk about the joy of collecting rocks which are then painted and hidden in the community for others, especially children, to find.
