How to dye gray hair at home

You will need to:

  • Latex gloves
  • Moisturizer
  • Hair comb

Steps to follow:

Step:1

Buy the color dye with which you want to cover gray hair, and choose one with ingredients that nourish and strengthen the hair. If you have a few gray hairs, choose a semi-permanent dye to hide them and not damage your hair.

Step: 2

In case you have full gray hair, opt for a permanent dye and a light color, since in dark colors gray hair is more noticeable when it grows back due to the contrast

When you already have the dye, put on latex gloves and clothes that you are not wearing in case you get to stain it

Prepare the dye as directed on the container.

Apply moisturizer to the forehead, ears, and nape of the neck so that the dye does not stain the skin in these areas.

Then separate the hair into sections and start dyeing the areas where there is grayer, in this way they will darken first and then the rest of the hair.

To spread the dye throughout the hair, after applying the dye, comb the hair with a close-toothed comb.

Let the dye work for the amount of time indicated on the package, then rinse with lukewarm water.
